Super healers. Super natural.

Heal.

The healing powers of plants have been used for a millennia. Flower essences date as far back to the pharaohs of Egypt. Within the 19th century Dr. Edward Bach created a collection known as Bach Flower Remedies. You may have heard of Rescue Remedy or even taken it at some point. Not a surprise, Nelsons sell millions of bottles a year in the UK and around the world. So, what are flower essences?

They are the vibrational energetic resonance of a flower, tree, crystal or environmental space imprinted in water (which is often spring water). Flower essence producers and practitioners follow rigorous standards of production and training to support the vocation and community as a whole.

The British Flower & Vibrational Essence Association promotes standards of practice and accredited training programs. Flower essence producers are accredited by the British Association of Flower Essence Producers which assures UK standards of production when you purchase an essence.

How are they made?

Depending on the essence maker’s training and personal style, essences can be created in different ways. The most important step is based on resonance communication with with a plant or tree from which an essence is co-created with. Bach remedies were classically made using sun method or boiling method. There are very few notes existing, but here’s an excerpt from Dr. Bach’s notes:

‘Let it be noticed in this that the four elements are involved; the earth to nurture the plant; the air from which it feeds; the sun or fire to enable it to impart it’s power; and water to collect and to be enriched with its beneficent magnetic healing.’

From Julian Barnard Form & Function.

Are they safe?

They are! Great for adults, children and animals. There are no contraindications when is comes to there use and even better, they are completely natural! The only exception is around alcohol content for some who must completely abstain. This can be adapted with use of other preservatives (glycerine or cyder vinegar).

What are they made of?

Spring water imprinted with the energy of a plant, gem stone or energetic space. Brandy is used as a preservative in a very small quantity.

“Kim has created various flower essences for both myself and my daughter over the past 2 yrs, working with us individually in a holistic and person centred way. I would not be without my facial spray which Kim formulated and has made a huge difference to menopausal hormone outbreaks I was experiencing previously. My skin is now much clearer and has improved in tone..”
